Company profile
Living Power is supported by Renewable Energy Generation, the £100m London Stock Exchange AIM-listed renewable energy company which has acquired a majority holding in the business.
It was set up by Adrian Venni who has a wealth of operational experience in the field of power generation and is at the forefront of the sustainable energy business.
His objective was to supply the energy requirements of his clients in an efficient, environmentally sustainable and cost effective manner.
The process has been approved by Ofgem, and it will be eligible for Renewable Obligation Certificates and Climate Change Levy Exemption Certificates.
Decentralised energy
The energy is delivered through a decentralised model to maximise production efficiency and cut down on the wastage of centralised power generation.
It is essential to have a supply of suitable biofuel, and this has been established by Living Power’s sister company Living Fuels which has perfected the refining of used cooking oils.
The equipment required for these environmentally friendly power generation systems is proven technology.
Continuous and reliable
Living Power has run extensive system trials to ensure that its biofuelled generators will operate continuously and reliably.
One large industrial user invited Living Power to trial the system and supply, in the first instance, 25 per cent of its energy requirement.
Following the three-month successful trial period the customer contracted with Living Power to provide its full 2MW site demand.
Living Power is now reviewing the energy requirements of this customer’s other premises and those of its multi-national parent group with a view to rolling out the system where appropriate.
Living Power offers tried and tested technology to provide carbon-neutral electricity into the market place in a sustainable cost-efficient manner.
The Living Power team understands the importance that business and industry places on reducing carbon footprints and helping to combat climate change. It believes its innovative development has an important part to play in building Britain's renewable energy capacity.
With Living Power and its £100m parent REG, there is the experience and financial resources to deliver and operate projects successfully.
